For being my first project I’m very pleased!😀Wanted to add and inner pocket but didn’t know how to 😅I also didn’t know how to finish the leather so I just rubbed some leather conditioner 🤷🏻♂️ Hopefully it stands up to everyday life 😁
edward.ironsideNov 27Penetrating the whole way through the leather is wrong when using pricking iron for hand stitching… Is that correct? LikeReactions11 comment1Views
geraldineOct 12Hello everyone, I have just joined the community of Leathercraftmasterclass! Would anyone know of a good tannery in England?! LikeReactions03 comments3Views
@aldouhdz As a first project that is fantastic! well done!
I bet that bag will last a long time.
Man, for a first project, that is excellent!
The pocket, if you want to keep in spirit of this project would be easy enough: a piece of leather same width and shape of the back, but a bit shorter, and you stitch it while assembling the gusset to the back panel
It's a good start! You could call this bag "The Mitre" after the bishop's-hat closure.
