For being my first project I’m very pleased!😀Wanted to add and inner pocket but didn’t know how to 😅I also didn’t know how to finish the leather so I just rubbed some leather conditioner 🤷🏻♂️ Hopefully it stands up to everyday life 😁

Man, for a first project, that is excellent!
The pocket, if you want to keep in spirit of this project would be easy enough: a piece of leather same width and shape of the back, but a bit shorter, and you stitch it while assembling the gusset to the back panel
It's a good start! You could call this bag "The Mitre" after the bishop's-hat closure.
