Does anyone here have any experience with VAE (vinyl acetate-ethylene) glue alongside PVA glue? I'm trying to find a PVA glue that is flexible. I've typically been using Elmers Glue All with good success except for the fact that it annoyingly cracks with any flex of the leather.

Cracking isn't typical of PVA glue, but I would expect that from PVA based glues such as wood glue. Try a few different brands and you'll notice some are more flexible than others. I've actually only seen one brittle PVA so far.
No experience with VAE, but you can add a small amount of solvent free contact adhesive to your PVA pot. Adheres well and has more flex.
