Good morning everyone, Yasmin here. May I please have some help/advice/input?

I'm in the process of constructing my first handbag and have chosen to edge paint some elements of it. After watching Philip's videos, and trying it myself, I am not getting the same results - although likely down to the product I'm using... Angelus edge paint (please don't cringe if you are cringing lol, this relates to part 2 of this essay). Essentially the edge paint isn't holding its form and is completely filled with tiny bubbles which, when sanding, then requires you to nearly sand the whole lot off to achieve a smooth surface.

So my question to you is:

• IF you have used Angelus edge paint AND also used say Uniters as Philip recommends, is there a structutral difference between the two? Basically I'm trying to figure out if I am doing it wrong, or is the issue with using a lesser quality product?

• If you are based in Australia, where are you getting your Uniters from? I have spoken with their distributor here in Aus and they do not and will not get it in for me. Or are you buying from abroad? Which supplier do you find most reliable?
