Start vs End - Round Awl Detail
Just finished the corner details video. Really interesting approach. Looking for confirmation on a minor detail mentioned.
In the video, Phil makes the comment that a round awl can be used for unsightly starting or ending stitches. Is the below correct?
If I am starting my stitches with a round awl, I would align with the high point of my prick marks (similar to the corner approach).
Versus if I am ending with a round awl, I would align with the lower points of the stitch marks.
