Thread "coming apart" or splaying after stiching
It seems no matter what I do, my thread keeps "disintegrating" after stiches. See picture, you can see the thread has not been able to keep "round"
On a side-note regarding the image; yes, I realize I ended the two stitchlines on oposite ends on this one
I have tried different leathers, different thread, different hole-making devices and diamond stiching irons, flat stiching irons, stiching tong(?).
Also tried more tension and less tension.
Any tips?

Yes, 432 is a good all round general size. The link to the leather you added should be better for stitching practice, though if it's nearer 2mm, I'd recommend taking two strips and gluing them together before stitching. Then you'll really see your potential!
