Hi all,
I have been looking on the web but are not able to find what im looking for.
I bought at bag of different hardware some years ago and have 2 og these metal frames, but i cont find out how to use them. I guess im going to wrap them in leather and then make some kind of bag and sew them on, but i need some inspiration to get started and some inspiration for how to close the bag.
Is there anyone here that used a set like these, who can help me get started

?
It's difficult to see from the picture, but it looks like that's only one side of a frame.
This may be the frame used on a 'kiss' lock bag, but the lock isn't there. Doing a reverse image search, it looks like you got that pic from Weaver leather supply. It might be worth asking them for examples of use.
I would like to make the cloche shoulder bag. it says that the pdf pattern is included and that I should click on a button in the right corner. Ive tried now on my ipad and desktop - and there is no button to click. Can anyone help please?
Hi! Iโm trying to understand how PDF patterns are included in these files. Has anyone tried using something like NAPS2 scanner download for Windows 7 to check these patterns? Iโm curious if it makes the process easier.
Unfortunately it is difficult to match panel/gussets to your pattern in real life unless you stick to a specific type of leather and thickness that works with that particular pattern. You may have it mathematically correct, however, if you change the thickness of the leather, use leather that is softer or more firm, or you stretch/compress the leather more around the corners, your dimensions can be wildly off, even on a small bag.
Trial and error using similar materials to make prototypes works well, then you can transfer these measurements onto a pattern.
