Leather splitting
Does anybody in the UK know of any supplier in the UK that offers free splitting? It seems from what I’ve seen online that this is a service that is quite common in other countries. I can’t understand why it’s not offered here.

Heya, Bakers tannery split for free for me when I bought from them, but worst case I think their advertised charge for splitting is around the £5 (dont hold me to that).
https://buyleatheronline.com/ will split for free. It comes from Italy but I have never had a problem and it arrives quickly. I think min order is around £130ish and they do all the tanneries like walpier and badalassi in half shoulders. I use DHL when ordering and haven't had to pay VAT on arrival to the uk yet.
