An issue on cordovan
Recently I've worked with some cordovan leather from Shinki Company.
Usually I work with stiff reinforcement ex) Texon under the leather.
And I found some uneven texture on the surface of the leather.
Is it common characteristic of Cordovan leather? or just skill issues ?

I don't think this is a cordovan issue, it looks like something has gone wrong with the connection to the reinforcement.
What glue did you use and what does the Texon look like underneath?
