I have problem with finding the right word or how to call a wooden element that is used to form a bag. This is not for molding and it’s not a jig… Please, English speaking crafters, help me :)
Machinery. a plate, box, or open frame for holding work and for guiding a machine tool to the work, used especially for locating and spacing drilled holes; fixture.
Haha! Recently, I wanted to buy an edge folding machine. I created hundreds of names for that machine and I couldn't find it on the web.
guess what… it's called - an edge folder! I finally got one made by OMAC, and I love it. It makes my pockets super sharp and super quick! I truly recommend it.
Now, my next question is: do you know a factory that makes those wooden formers? Or should I rather find some skilled woodcrafter to make one?
Is it incorrect to call this a jig?
It is called a wooden form, or wood former. You had the name already in your question 😋
