Polish rivet set

Hi there,

Has anyone got

any tips/tricks on keeping the rivet setter nice and polished after continued use?

Hi Sam, before performing any polishing surgery on your set, have you actually lost the polish or are you looking to prevent it becoming rough?

A properly heat treated rivet setter should never need re-polishing unless you damage it or abuse it.

thanks for your reply. Yes, my set hasn’t lost its polish quite just yet. I was just asking, in order to prevent it from happening and then to maintain it. But, that’s sound better, that I don’t have to polish it then… to maintain it
