Permanent double tape, does that exist ?

Thank you for your answer Fadi ! I think i wasn't clear enough..

I do not want to glue leather to metal (which to me, sounds like a blaspheme), but leather to leather to cover a metal part under the lining for protection. Here is an Hermès picture, they use simple tape to cover the metal part, i want to do the same thing but with a leather piece and double sided tape for better protection..

Ps: I heard about Ted's tape, would that work for my application and do you know where can i find a supplier in Europe? Thank you again!
