Hello everyone,
A total noob here!
I'm on the verge to buy pricking irons from KS Blade Punch. I'm just confused whether to pick the ones with "round" dents or "diamond" shape dents.
In your opinion, which shape holes will result to a good looking stitching ?
Thank you so much
I agree that WUTA makes a great product.
Buuuut, I just ordered the Round Dent set from KS before the holidays. Hasn't arrived yet.
I do prefer the angled pricking irons, but I'm keen to try out the round dent, as I'd tinkered with a few tools that actually cut holes and (when sharp) they worked moderately well on thinner hide.
However, in some cases the angled pricking irons have weakened thinner vegtan (W&C, even), even to breaking. So I'm exploring more options as reference (read: $$$).
I'm really hoping the KS tools are long enough to do thicker vegtan all the way up to 10oz if possible. We'll see.
