Jubilee Case
Just thought I'd share a little project from 2018.
Jubilee case in Black Yves Saint Laurent calf. Custom solid brass hardware and Osage Orange wood.
When I'm in the shop I'll often brainstorm by playing with different materials, creating shapes and just seeing where it leads. This one started with the brass rectangular frame and the rest just fell into place.

@Terry Millard I've simply screwed the wood to the bag from the inside. If I were to do it again, I would have threaded the end of the square rod that fits against the wood and inserted a small bolt that way instead. Visually it makes no difference, but from an engineering standpoint it's a little more resolved.
