I have recently completed my first weekender bag based on my design, and implementing all the precious information learnt whilst being a member at @Leathercraft Masterclass and also from @Buccino (see where everything started here: https://www.leathercraftmasterclass.com/forum-1/leathercraft-techniques/gusset-construction-informations?appSectionParams=%7B%22origin%22%3A%22member_posts_page%22%7D ).

My rolled handle design have been refined thanks to the De Havillard Bag class - the only difference is that I used a 3mm iron for my bag and I had to edit Phil’s pattern to accomodate that. Tha bag is made in Black Aniline Calf, it’s fully reinforced with salpa and fully lined with calf leather and has an internal zip pocket and a cotton shoulder strap.
