Bi-fold prototype

I thought I better post something as I've been very vocal on everyone else's posts of late 😬🙄

So the outer is Walpier Dollaro in whiskey and the lining and internals is Bakers of Colyton oak bark tan in russet.... or if you fancy and stuffs au naturale 😎. It was good to work through a few new processes I came up with and also exploring thicknesses for the lined pieces. I am going to remake with my modification on the pattern and a drop in thickness as low as I/others who have given advice dare to go and then give it a good old abuse test to see how it holds up.

That's about it really 😅

Thanks Phil, yeah it's funny that's exactly what I said to Andy earlier that I didnt like the contrast stitch and will be going more subtle from now on. This wasnt bad for a prototype and I'm going to refine it for the real thing. On the next prototype (as we discussed on a previous post) I'm gonna drop the thickness of the T-slots to .8ish and skive the life out of certain areas to see how elegant I can get it. I've also seen people not stitching the top section of the t slot part and the internal long part which gives the illusion of two thin parts rather than one slightly thicker so I may try that.
