I made a slightly modified version of the dieselpunk round bag for my wife. Lined with goat, and sewn with alternate colour stitching from Phil’s great sewing tutorial. Making the strap adjustable with Sam browns instead of a buckle is a nice way to go as there’s no buckle to catch on your clothes or hands. I also added a braided kangaroo leather key lanyard using a bleed knot at the clip end that transitions into a mystery braid.

The veg tan leather marks really easily though, so that’s pretty disappointing. Otherwise, I’m very happy with it! The first time I used this pattern I made a bike bag, and this honestly came out nicer than I expected - to do it again I’d do a higher end job on edge finishing, maybe edge paint.
