Couple of projects

Hello all,

Please give me your feedback on a pair of briefcases shown here. In both, the smooth leather is Wickett and Craig English bridle. Goat lining. One bag has a "sandblasted" gator flap from AmTan, my first large project using that material. ABAS closures. Creased with F2 fileteuse. The bag bodies (exteriors) are 10.5" tall by 15" wide. Regarding the stitching with 1mm Tiger thread and Craft Japan irons: I've ordered European irons, and future projects will have the decorative angles we all like so much.

A question for the group: How much should I charge for these briefcases?

Thanks,

Dale

@smithdal Monkey see monkey do.

They know lines gain attention. Clubs have been known to pay people to stand in line so that they can gain interest. It's a cheap tactic.

In psychology it would be called social proof or social influence.

A few weeks back I was in Galleries Lafayette in Paris. LV had a main store on one of the levels, then they also had what can only be described as a 'feeding trough' for frenzied customers waiting to be seen by one of about about a dozen cashiers.

There were two of these and you're only looking at half of one in this pic.

It's absolutely nuts, there were lines going around the corner past the entrances of all the other stores on that level.
