Not pretty, but practical pouches

I bought some split shoulders from Met. Leather to practice on and have been making prototype pieces out of them. This week I made two long pouches for a couple of chainsaw filing systems that I use in my day-to-day job as a tree surgeon. The items that I make for work needn't necessarily be the best quality, as they get some rough treatment! This was my first foray into using the baseball stitch to join the two sides together. As always any advice and feedback will be appreciated.

@Daniel Styffe - Thanks. I didn't mold them as I don't reckon this finished split leather would take to it very well. I grooved the flesh side prior folding and stitching.

@Philip - Thank you. It was a first for me, but I think I managed to get it. I did it with a needle each end rather than simply using one end. Is that the most productive / efficient way to do it do you think?
