Hello from the SF, Bay Area!
Hi Everyone!
I’m a full time LE Officer, with a huge passion for creating things. Hobbies to include, art, piano, tinkering with things, and sewing.
I got started with sewing almost 2 decades ago making tactical/outdoor equipment for myself, and friends. Started with a Sailrite semi-industrial, and worked up to my current Juki 1541.
I just got started with leathercraft quite recently (literally months- while recovering from a work related injury), and have been obsessed ever since. I started my journey with Tandy stuff, then quickly learned about higher end tools, which I wish I started out with.
Now, it’s a matter of practicing and learning new techniques- which brings me to this awesome forum! I’m hoping to participate when I can with my limited knowledge! Otherwise I’m here to learn!
@Leathercraft Masterclass , my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Trying to design and build new products without duplicating is a challenge.
However, I was able to take a photo of the briefcase in it's current state. The lighting isn't the best. I usually have someone else take photos for me.
By the way, please let me know what you think of my current project, A Porsche 911 GT2 RS racing inspired duffle bag that is part of a series of classic racing and high-performance inspired bespoke duffle bags I'm working on for 2020.
Keep in mind, these are 'inspired' duffle bags and not affiliated with any auto manufacturers.
I may have to start your classes before the holidays as this new project needs to be as close to perfect as possible.
