Find this simple device works well for leather edge finishing. Each side of this cosmetologist’s manicuring block presents a different abrasive surface, They progress from the grey (“Shaping” ) face, which seems like about 220 grit, though the blue “Smoothing” and green “Buffing” faces, up to the red “Shining“ face, which seems like 4000+ grit. The blocks are available here in the US at CVS Pharmacies for a few bucks; they last for months. Give one a try. I think you’ll like it.
