Leather Hole Punches | Polish And Sharpen
Hey guys, I thought I'd share this here first. Tomorrow I'll put it on Instagram.
I cleaned up and sharpened some wad punches I got in the post today.
For an entire set from 3mm to 12mm I didn't expect anything spectacular for £55.99, but I have to say they are great! German made which I thought was a nice touch.
Anyway, they needed a little polishing to make them cut and pull out smoothly like most do, so I made a quick video on my phone for you guys.

@lowlandsleathercompany The main thing is that you got them to release easily. But yeah, that rim is pretty thick! Very similar to the Chinese ones I had.
The new punches I have now all came with reasonable edges to be fair, but a razor sharp edge isn't required on a punch in my opinion. Just smooth sides to prevent damage and easy extraction.
