So I did an Instagram live video this evening opening my Christmas present - a high speed steel round knife!

I was having some issues with the WiFi extender, so apologies to those who watched it! 🤣

Anyway, pixel Phil and his head cold was taking a first hand look at this new little knife. Honestly, it's a game changer!

I will do a more in depth full review once I have had some real world experience in the workshop with it. First impressions are good but I need some work time with it.

Though I am definitely in a minority here in stating that I look forward to sharpening a new knife, this is hands down the sharpest knife I have ever received 'out of the box', so for fans of that kind of thing - you'll love it.

But it pops hairs as you brush the blade past them without skin contact - this has always been my gauge for 'ready'.

But so far I love how the steel takes a razor edge and keeps it compared to the Barnsley round knife that I have been using for years.
