Bill Amberg is one of my personal heroes and one of the most important people in the leathercraft community.
He is a shining example of how you can achieve success as a leather crafts-person. He didn't grow up in privileged surroundings, but through patience, persistence and perspiration, you can barely mention leather in London without mention of this iconic man.
What Bill has done for the craft is beyond measurement. You may not know his name, but you will no doubt have witnessed the effect that he has had in the community.
