Hi everyone I am Peter. I have been doing leatherwork for some time now and which is still a passion for me. Started off by going to Cordwainers Collage in Hackney London on a 2 year saddlery course, ended up doing a higher one after that so I stayed for 4 years instead of 2. Everything made by hand which was fun. I learned a lot back then and I am still learning today hence doing this fantastic course now. The level of instruction on this course is on a par and in many ways far better than the instruction I received at Cordwainers back in the day as it is so detailed and at the same time so simple to understand. The tips and little tricks are priceless. Keep up the good work Phil.

Hi Peter, welcome to the forum. I am very jealous of your time studying as being self taught I have always craved for some sort of structured curriculum that didnt allow me to bounce around 😅 Also I live in the middle of nowhere in Devon so I think I would be limited on places to study 🤣. As Phil said I would love to see some of your work.
Welcome to the forum Peter, it's wonderful to have you join us. I'm so glad to hear you have benefitted from the courses!
Is there any chance we can see some of your work? I've always been fascinated by saddlery, it's a very unique kind of leathercraft.
