I got some alligator scraps from a well known leather golf bag maker in SC. In turn, I said, I would make him a strap.
Here are the photos of the process and the strap. I am definitely getting a bell skiver. That'll cut one day out of the process.

Nice work! Yes a bell skiver definitely helps save time. I take it the recipient has a vintage Rolex?
