Hello my name is Andy I live in Iowa in the USA. I am new to this group. I started leather working as a kid wanting to try to make a knife sheath……I had not done any leather since I was young until recently I saw something that sparked my interest again and now it’s mostly all I want to do!😂 I would consider My leather Work to be pretty rustic. I have been experimenting with bags and such lately. I work as a Wood carver/ sculptor for my day Job……. Below are a couple of the bags I made recently. I am anxious to make some bags using some of the fine detail techniques that I’m learning from Phil!

I like the use of quick release buckles on the 2nd bag. Did you distress them to match the strap hardware? Looks great.
