I was thinking does there exist a table what is the optimum ratio between the thicknes of the leather and number of stiches that are optimal cosmeticaly.
What gives the best cosmetic efect if you know what i mean :-)

I usually make my decison regarding spi and thread size not based on the leather thickness, but based on the overall dimension/shape of my project.
