Easy. Just score a line at your preferred margin with a wing divider as usual. Then, carefully apply the tape with one edge along this line. Stick the rest of the tape’s width over the leather’s edge to the pounding board to hold the piece in place; see the top photo in my post.

You’re welcome. I use the Scotch blue painter’s tape and have had no problem with it stretching.

Get an arbor press. They are relatively inexpensive and useful, not only for embossing, but for setting rivets and snaps.

Agree about logo. Gucci, et al. emblazon their items with their logos. So should you be proud of your awesome work.

Thank you. This is Horween Dublin tannage; it is veg tanned but stuffed with oils and waxes. I used John James 004 needles. I don't have any curved needles. Can you recommend some, please.
