Hey guys, I just received my first purchase of suede. I'm planning to use it as interior lining for my version of the Turenne handbag. I'm a complete novice when it comes to suede, so I'm not sure if the suede I received is supposed to look the way it does. To me, it seems like it shouldn't have all those dark spots on it. It doesn't make a difference in which way I comb the suede. The dark veiny areas don't go away. What do you guys think? Is that normal, or should I get another one? Thanks in advance! JC

Hello everyone, I'm John from New York. I'm a software engineer by trade but got into leathercraft about two months ago. I was in the market for a leather duffle bag, so I watched a bunch of reviews on YouTube. That's when I came across Philip's videos and his online course. After a week straight of leathercraft videos, it fired me up to try it myself. I purchased some cheap leather and started to practice what I was learning. So far, I've made a toiletry/cosmetic bag. My next project is going to be the Turenne handbag. Maybe I'm shooting for the stars, but hey, I like the challenge, lol. Philip, I love the content! Please keep it coming! JC
