Took a while, but I finally finished the zip wallet from the Intermediate course... picked up some ostrich remnants from buyleatheronline (wish I would have picked up a few more bundles at the price...) and thought it would be good to practice with... It was my first time doing a zip, but it went pretty well... Can't imagine attempting a project like this without the videos to fall back on... 🙂 JH

Finally got these finished over the weekend... First time wrapping a snap, and amazingly it came out pretty well... The tutorial was great and these came out much better than ones that I have made in the past, and look much more refined with the lining and small touches from the tutorial... The red is Buttero, and the blue is La Bretagna Pecos, both from RM Leather... It was the first time that I have worked with La Bretagna Pecos, and even though it is a bit less firm than the Buttero, it was wonderful to work with and has a great feel...
