I am so glad to be here after saving up to join Leathercraft Masterclass. This is my gift to myself. My name is Arleen and I live in Powder Springs, GA USA, right outside of the Atlanta Metropolitan area. I started leathercraft in 2012 around the same time I earned my Master's degree. Curiosity got the better of me when I spotted a new leather supply shop in the area. I walked in and saw these gorgeous big hides hanging on racks. I was hooked. I took a few classes at the shop. My interest expanded to taking classes on making handbags at a handbag design academy. I have made sandals, totes, framed handbags, and other items. In 2019, I started my business, AJH Leather Designs. I have an e-commerce store, ajhleatherdesigns.net. I also repair leather items and redesign older items for customers. Now, I want to hone my skills. I hope to learn as much as I can. What I make for my courses, I want to showcase in my studio for all to see. I hope to meet all of you soon.
