How to fix Brass studs without damaging leather?
Hello, I recently bought beautiful Brass studs from Buckle Guy. It has been an absolute nightmare to hammer them on leather. I hammered it to a point that the leather had indentations and cut!!
Please recommend any special tool or technique to fix these studs if known to anyone? Thank you..Aditi

Hey mate.
Got the same, pretty easy to install once you figure out the trick.
What i do is have the leather on an anvil (or a thick granit slab) and i hammer the stuf with a piece of wood, like really hammer it. It takes a few strong taps, but once its set, its set forever.
