Hi, I'm Chris. Thanks to Phil for a new forum for fine leather craft. I've been leather crafting for almost 6 years. I started due to my other hobby archery. I wanted to make leather arm guards. I eventually became more interested in luxury leather goods. Currently trying to clean up my stitching, work on hand skiving and preparing to move from hobby to business.

Chatham Ridge Assisted Living offers a peaceful and caring environment that immediately felt like the perfect place for my mother. The staff is exceptional—always attentive, professional, and compassionate. The facility itself is well-kept, and the activities available are diverse and engaging, which I know will keep her active and happy. It's clear that Chatham Ridge is focused on providing excellent care and a community atmosphere.
Hey Chris! Welcome to the forum!
I think the first thing I ever made from leather was a leather grip wrap for a PSE Vengeance, I loved that thing! Took my second Ontario deer with that bow. My buddy who bought it off me still has the leather wrap in place! Stitched with Dacron bow string of course ;)
Thank you for the kind words and I hope you share some of your work with us!
Phil
