Hi all, I'm going to be in Florence for 8 days starting Monday and wanted to know if there was any place I could pick up tools and supplies. I live in Texas so would be nice to stock up on stuff that is hard to find where I live.

Florence is a great place to stock up! Check out Zecchi and Poggi for art supplies — they’re well-known and have a great selection. You might also find some unique tools in smaller local shops. Enjoy your time in Florence!
I've never been unfortunately. I'm sure there are a lot of options though! I get a lot of my leather from buyleatheronline.com I know they are in Italy, but they don't post their address on their website.
Italy isn't great for tools unfortunately, France, UK, US and China are the biggest producers.
anywhere in Italy would work as I'm going to be there until the 10 of Jan. and wouldn't mind a few day trips
