thanks Philip, without your course, i can not get there, your instruction in the course is very detail and explain each step that veteran thinks natual but don't why. it is very important for me to know those detail and reason as a beginer.
That is beautiful! I haven't got to this level yet. Still getting to grips with a lot of the basics, but I'll get there in the end. Glad you had fun making your box - the result was definitely worth your effort.
Glad to hear the comments that really encourages me to continuously improve my leather skill. and I started leather work with zero basis in last May. i think if putting enough time and efforts to keep doing and more importantly trying different project, improvement will be significant and very quick. see my progress in making picotin bag in chronicle order

I also share my experience, not starting with big things, starting with making small stuff, because, small stuff will practice you all the detail. watch strip is really good thing to begin with. use leather scraps and practicing precise cutting, clear stitich (very important), usage of filler and different materials and at the end edge finish. making a good watch strip is very difficult, but if you can excel watch strip making ,basically, you can deal with most stuff easily.
@ronnieli Oh wow, that's so beautiful! Well done. I really love the tan and gold on the outside, it's a combination that really works.
Brilliant work!
