First Briefcase

Thank you. The clean / simple look definitely appealed to me. The handle functions as intended though had I seen your classes before building I definitely would have incorporated your briefcase handle design. At the time I wasn't entirely sure how to finish the edges (was only familiar with burnishing). I ended up using dye to hide the exposed edges. Preventing the black dye from bleeding into the pigskin lining proved challenging. If I were doing it over I'd definitely choose a different lining and a different means of finishing the edges.

Thank you. I'll try to post a few more shots. I used pigskin for the lining and would definitely recommend using something else - not particularly fond of how it looks. Lock rivets are made by perlage - doing this for the first time definitely caused some anxiety and while they could always be better, I'm ok with how they turned out.
