This was my first real "bag" project. This was made with a side of Wickett & Craig bridle. There are several details I would change if I were making this today however, given it was my first attempt making a briefcase I remain quite proud of this one. Definitely looking forward to building the Cutler briefcase. I'm currently working on the zip wallet and eyeglasses case. Really enjoying these classes so far - extremely thorough and very well taught!

This was really about the only pic of the inside I took while building. The patch covering the lock was a mistake (I ended up gluing in the lining before installing the lock). I wasn't overly fond of the pigskin but it did the trick at least. I was very much unfamiliar with several techniques I now use on every build (such as skiving, more advanced edge work, familiarity with various materials both leather and otherwise etc). Even so, it remains a great bag and works as intended.
Beautiful work! And those yacht-inspired feet railings do look a stunner too.
Beautiful work well done
Beautiful work. Such a classic look, and I really like the Bōle style handle too
Wow, beautiful design. I like especially the wooden „feet“. Could you provide more pictures from the inside? Are the rivets on the lock made by perlage? Great work!
