@Cristian Thank you, that's a really kind offer. I am actually videoing as I go with this restoration so if I can help anyone else, the information will be there. I think the biggest question I have is did you pull every last bit apart to clean it, paint it, oil and grease it etc, or did you leave everything in situ? I am a bit concerned about pulling it to pieces and not getting it back together again 😂 although it is mechanically a very simple machine.

@Cristian thanks Cristian that does help (even with the condiments 😆)! I was guessing WW2 or just post war as it appears quite workmanlike - nothing flashy here. I’ll put photos up once I’ve renovated it. Best wishes and thanks again!

😂😂😂 swearing in multiple languages, Fadi, so funny! I would be yelling too. But I get the idea! What a shame. A long time ago when just starting, I was sold Angelus edge paint (it’s either that or fiebings readily available from leather places here), and quite frankly it’s crap. It doesn’t even do anything! I thought it was my poor technique (partly that) but it’s so watery. I’ll have to get onto the Uniters. Thank you so much for your reply, I really appreciate it!

Hi Tim, thanks so much for your reply! Looking again at the videos, the Angelus seems a lot less viscous than the Uniters so perhaps that's where half the issue lays - then work on technique from there. You are lucky to be in the states as you have some really cool suppliers. I think Rocky Mountain will be my go to for Uniters, and they ship to Australia! Thank you Tim! :)
