Struggling to get anything to bond to a piece of resin backed Walpier Buttero veg tan leather to itself ie back to back. Have tried sanding the surface and using some solvents to clean it but still can’t get good adhesion with contact adhesive. Has anyone else experienced this issue and solved it without having to skive/split it down to remove the resin layer?

Hi all, a little obscure but what are your thoughts and recommendations for bench and workshop/atelier lighting? I currently have some led ceiling panels and a table light on my workbench. I find the led panels cast shadows when trying to align pricking irons (eyesight isn’t what it used to be!) and the bench light gets in the way if close enough in to make a difference......
