Here's a pencil holder I just finished. Made of Horween Dublin tannage leather, it has butt and box stitched seams.
Just ordered some M and S. Eager to try them. Had to order needle holder, as well.
That is some very neat butt stitching. It's quite a delicate ballance when a slightly too tight or loose stitch can throw off the straight line in the seam, so excellet work.
Minimal marks from the needles too, which is tough when butt stitching veg-tan. Did you use curved needles to achieve this?
