Hi there! Welcome! If you want to make a bag that doesn't require to much of an investment I would suggest making a Tote bag to start with.

Bags don't have to be a big investement. You can make one for like 50 usd, specially when you are starting. But you will have to adapt your design to the tools that you have at hand :)
