I have an antique chair that is upholstered in sheepskin leather. On one of the corners, the leather is deteriorating. Does anyone here have the knowledge and experience to fix this and bring the leather back to its former glory?

I personally wouldn't try to restore that particular part of the leather. It looks to be completely perished at this point. I'd look into repair or replacement.
Try getting a second opinion from an upholstery restorer though, they may recommend something that could stabilise the leather to get a few more years out of it.
