I'm planning on buying a stamping machine between https://www.artisanleathersupply.com/collections/machines/products/stamping-machine-full-set & https://www.dreamfactorytools.com/products/stamping-machine?variant=31465078259756. I'm not too familiar with what type of specs I should be looking out for. Artisanleathersupply is much cheaper and I've been buying a lot of my tools from this supplier since they are local to my area. Haven't had any problems so far and their customer service is great. Dreamfactorytools seems like the popular choice and the standard for high quality stamping machines. I'm not too familiar with stamping machines in general outside of the course video on here. Would anyone know by the spec sheet if the actual stamp sets are interchangeable between the two brands?

I second Philip.
I personally choose my suppliers (not just in leather) because of their service. They could be selling products as much as 10% more expensive than elsewhere, as long as their service is superior, i go for them. Because one day, something will happen, and i will make back that 10% difference and much more.
So, if ALS is close to you and their machine does what it needs to do (i.e stamping) then no need to spend more on a machine that does extra stuff that you do not need.
Customer service really is everything and the fact ALS are close to you means you could probably ask to demo a machine in person. I did that when visiting Metallic Elephant.
If the ALS machine does everything you need it to, that's a good chunk of change less than the Dream Factory!
